Analyze your job
description for AIHuman Agency Role Analyzer

A free AI job description analyzer that answers a specific question: what parts of my job can AI do, and what parts require human judgment? Paste a job description and the Analyzer decomposes the role into its recurring tasks, then scores each task on human authorship and machine advantage — producing a Human Agency Score for the role. No account, no sign-up, nothing stored.

Most AI conversations start with the technology. This one starts with the work. The result is a design instruction, not a verdict about whether a job will be automated: which tasks to protect, which to keep human, which to augment, and which to hand to a machine.

Your job description is never stored. It is analyzed in the request and discarded.

Protect: Human judgment is the work. Keep the decision with a person and hold the accountability visible.

Augment: Machine leverage with human authorship. Define what the person must still decide.

Automate: Repeatable and data-driven. Automate the mechanics and reinvest the time upstream.

How to read this
Human Agency Index (HAI)
How much of the task depends on human authorship — moral consequence, meaning, accountability, ambiguity and mandate. 0–100.
Machine Advantage Index (MAI)
How much of the task favours machine execution — repeatability and data dependence, less the interpretive, relational and compliance load. 0–100.
Gap (HAI − MAI)
Positive means the task leans human. Negative means the mechanics of it lean machine.
Exposure
The design instruction for the task: Protect, Human Only, Augment or Automate.

Job description analysis for the age of AI

How the Analyzer works, and how AI job risk is actually measured here: it applies the same logic as our Human Agency Framework™, narrowed to a single role. It is deliberately transparent — the model rates, the method scores.

  1. 01

    Decompose the role

The description is read for its recurring tasks — the work itself, not the qualifications or the boilerplate.

  2. 02

    Rate each task

Twelve dimensions, one to five: cognitive complexity, decision authority, interpretive judgment, relational intensity, compliance risk, repeatability, data dependence, and five human agency sub-dimensions.

  3. 03

    Compute, don't guess

The Human Agency Index and Machine Advantage Index are calculated from those ratings by a fixed method, so the same input always produces the same result.

  4. 04

    Return a design instruction

Each task lands in Protect, Human Only, Augment or Automate — a starting point for redesigning the role, the workflow and the decision rights around it.

From instrument to operating model

One role is a signal. The pattern is the problem.

When several roles show the same imbalance, the cause is upstream: unclear decision rights, workflows built for a pre-AI operating model, governance that arrives too late. That is the work we do with executive teams.

Can my job be automated?

Common questions about the free AI job audit — what it measures, what it refuses to predict, and what happens to your text.

What parts of my job can AI do?
The Analyzer answers that task by task rather than role by role. It extracts the recurring tasks in the description, rates each one, and returns four instructions: protect, keep human, augment, or automate the mechanics. Tasks with high repeatability and high data dependence favour machine execution; tasks carrying moral consequence, interpretive meaning, relational accountability, strategic ambiguity or institutional authority stay human.
What is a Human Agency Score?
It is a 0–100 index of how much of a role depends on human authorship — judgment, accountability and authority that cannot be delegated to a machine. It is computed from the twelve ratings by our published method, alongside a Machine Advantage Index, so you can see both forces on the same role.
Is this a free AI job audit tool?
Yes. The instrument is free, requires no account and no sign-up. There is an hourly usage limit so it stays available to everyone.
Is my job description stored?
No. The text is analyzed in the request and discarded. We keep only an anonymous fingerprint of the text so an identical paste can reuse its result, plus the extracted task wording and ratings.
Does this tell me whether AI will take my job?
No. The Analyzer never predicts job loss and will not tell you a role is going away. It checks which parts of the work can be automated and which cannot, then produces a design instruction for each task, so people and leaders can redesign work deliberately rather than guess.
How is AI job risk measured here?
An AI model reads the description and assigns twelve ratings from one to five against a fixed rubric. Every index, band and count you see is then computed by our published scoring method, not by the model.
